Carol Hamer

Carol completed her B.A. Integrated Arts at the University of Baltimore with a focus in graphic design, and has over 35 years of experience working in and around the Baltimore/Washington metropolitan area. Currently, she is an HR/Administrative Coordinator in the Emergency Medicine department of The Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, and previously worked as an administrative assistant for The Anne E. Casey Foundation, as a liaison between the foundation and its grantees.

In addition to volunteering at BTSS, Carol enjoys drawing, painting and caring for many houseplants and container gardens. She currently resides in the Cheswolde neighborhood of Baltimore City with her daughter Allison, a graphic artist, painter and avid Barbie collector, and her very personable cat, Nyla.
